                                                    For dissertation/thesis submission

                               Please be sure to read the following information carefully

I. The important dates for submitting final, defended dissertation/thesis in electronic format in the first semester of the academic year 2017 are as follows:

 A. Dissertation/thesis submission for school-leaving process: Jun. 01, 2017 - Jul. 31, 2017.
 B. Dissertation/thesis review: Jun. 01, 2017 - Jul. 24, 2017.
 C. It will not supply reviewing during the weekend and library closing from Jul. 07 to Jul. 16, 2017

II. Format review is a university requirement to ensure your document complies with PCCU standards.

III. Approval of the library is also required for submitting the printed copy for Doctoral/Master’s students before 16:00 on Jul. 31, 2017(Monday), Please submit the following documents to the Library Circulation Desk:

 A. A valid student ID card.
 B.A copyright authorization for electronic dissertation/thesis signed by you.
 C.One printed copy of dissertation/thesis, which attached with
        “Chinese Culture University Copyright  Authorization for Dissertation/Thesis”.

V. Notices on the printed copy of dissertation/thesis:

 A. No watermark contained.
 B. A copyright authorization for dissertation/thesis signed by you.

Monday to Friday : 8:30am - 9:00pm

Saturday and Sunday : 8:30am - 4:30pm 

During holiday, summer and winter vacation, the opening hours are according to the school workday.

Loan Policy
 
Full-time faculty currently employed may borrow up to 40 items of circulating library materials for eight weeks.

Part-time faculty currently employed may borrow up to 30 items of circulating library materials for six weeks.

Graduate students currently enrolled may borrow up to 40 items of circulating library materials for six weeks.

Staff members currently employed may borrow up to 30 items of circulating library materials for four weeks

Undergraduate students currently enrolled may borrow up to 15 items of circulating library materials for three weeks

Alumni, retired faculty and staff members may borrow up to 5 items of circulating library materials for four weeks.

Alumnus are required to pay NT$3,000 as mortgage and then can check out five books with the loan period of four weeks.

 

Reference Services

Library Guide:The reference librarians have designed basic courses introducing the library to teachers and students, especially for freshmen, based on different backgrounds of each department. For graduate students and special topics of teachers, monographic interpretations are supplied. Readers can make reservation with the librarians in advance.

Interlibrary Loan and Panttsiran Interlibrary Loan

The guide for usage of all types of reference materials and electronic resources. (Including Intranet Electronic Resources, On-line Resources, etc.) 

Assistance in using WebPac

 Teacher's Designed Reference Books:
Designed Reference Books are exhibited in the reference room, which are designed by teachers for students to study. They can only be read in the library and are not allowed to be borrowed. The period of exhibitions is based on teachers' requirements.
